We visited Cape Town & the western Cape in Nov 11. We needed a guide and my wife came across Clive's site just through using google. This was the best stroke of luck we could ever had wished for. Our 1st trip with clive was so good(cape point) that we actually changed our plans and booked Clive for a second tour(Champange tasting in Franschhoek area).

Clive is happy to come up with a plan for you, but is quite open to amend at the last second if there is something you want to do or see. So don't be afraid and suggest something as this is why a private tour guide works so well. You will travel in luxury, comfort and with one of the most friendly of people you will ever meet.

Clive's knowledge is quite diverse from history, food, wine and just general issues that occur in the world everyday. You will not be disappointed when booking Clive, so if u were unsure if to book or not before reading this review then please don't waste your money on someone else. Book Clive now!

We only hope Clive is still in the industry the next time we are the Western Cape region or South Afrcia in general as we we book him without out a seconds thought.

We were recommended to Clive by our son's partner and found Clive and Godfrey to be excellent tour guides. We had an amazing day in the township with Godfrey and a fantastic day touring the Stellenbosch wineries with Clive. If it wasn't for Clive informing us we would have gone to Zambia and Zimbabwe without our Yellow Fever vaccination and so he saved us huge grief on our return, thank you Clive. Highly recommended.

If I had one word to describe the Cape Winelands tour = phenomenal. I had booked this trip after reading about it on their website. We were in a group of 8 traveling from around the world to participate in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Having Googled Clive to find him, we were a little nervous about our visit together, although his website was very reassuring. We shouldn’t have worried. From the time he picked us up at the airport after 11PM one night, until he left us 3 days later, nothing could have been better. Clive is charming and knowledgeable, and he was very perceptive in discerning our wants and needs. He designed our time together based on what we had told him in our communications, and was very flexible in making changes as we went along. He directed us to good restaurants, and made reservations for us. Clive’s knowledge of South Africa in general and the Cape Town area in particular is extensive, so we not only saw wonderful things, we also learned a lot. And, in the process, we had a lot of fun. We will recommend him to any of our friends, and hope this recommendation will also be helpful to online readers.
