What does Clive do? I am an Independent Cape Town Tour Guide. I arrange tours for my clients in and around Cape Town and the rest of South Africa. When I am not on the road with my clients, I am behind this screen designing tours for people like you.

So you want to know more about me? My full name is Clive De Bruyne. I grew up in a small town along the South Coast of South Africa, also known as the Garden Route. Soon after I finished school I moved to the city (Cape Town). My life has since been rather interesting; I have traveled around the world on a shoestring, scrubbed decks on the French Rivera, farmed in England and finally when I decided to grow up I started teaching high school History and Geography. Thereafter I moved into tourism on a full time basis.

My interest in tourism started whilst I attended the University of Cape Town where I obtained my BSocSci. I ran tours on weekends and during the holidays to pay for my varsity fees and so I fell in love with my city and country. I have traveled extensively in Southern Africa and have been guiding tourists around my city and country for a decade now.

I am truly passionate about traveling and love to share the abundance that Cape Town and South Africa has to offer visitors. I look forward to welcoming you to my City.
